Precious Things
Introduction: No amount of money can buy the soul. It is too pre cious (Mark 8:36, 37). Today, I want us to study precious things.
I. The Blood of Christ is precious (I Peter 1:18, 19; Revelation 1:5).
II. The word of the Lord is precious (I Samuel 3:1).
III. God’s promises are precious (II Peter 1:3, 4). Let me give you three:
A. The promise of the remission of sins (Luke 24:46, 47; Acts 2:38, 39).
B. The promise of perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3; Philippians 4:6, 7).
C. The promise of eternal life (I John 2:25).
IV. Faith is precious (II Peter 1:1).
V. Wisdom is precious (Proverbs 3:15).
VI. A good name is precious (Ecclesiastes 7:1).
VII. The death of a Saint is precious (Psalm 116:15).
Conclusion: Today, we have studied precious things. This is where our emphasis must be. Is the focus of your life on the things of Great Value?
